CIMA-qualified finance executive with more than 20 years of international leadership experience in finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, and operations within the CRO industry.
Before joining Avania, Marie Engels held senior finance leadership roles at Kapadi, Syneos Health, Quintiles (now IQVIA), and PRA Health Sciences (now ICON), where she supported global growth, acquisition integrations, and business transformation initiatives. Throughout her career, Marie has led global finance organizations, implemented enterprise financial systems, enhanced financial reporting and forecasting, and partnered with executive leadership, boards, and investors to support business performance and expansion across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Marie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management and a Master’s degree in Business and Management from the Catholic University of Lille, France. She is fluent in English and French.
